How to find a book arranged according to the old system (Zastrau)

If you cannot find a book on the numerical shelves, as currently displayed on the catalogue, try on the Zastrau side (the old alphabetical classification system). The Zastrau number can be found on the catalogue by following these steps:

1. Search for the book on the catalogue,

2. When found, write down the level and then click on the title of the book,

3. Click on the icon marked “MARC Display”

4. Write down the old shelf number (e.g.: EBE SMIT) mentioned in the 099 field.

5. Search for the book on the relevant level, on the shelves marked “Zastrau” (on the right hand side of each level).
