The APK Library is currently in the process of changing from one classification system (Zastrau) to another (Dewey). The purpose of this blog to provide information to stakeholders regarding the planning, developments, possible impact and relevant facts regarding Dewey (DDC). It must be noted that our aim throughout this project is to finish this project with as little disruption possible to our clients. NB - The Law Collection on level six will remain in Zastrau order.

Day 8
Today we will be moving:
- Books with a Dewey number from 658.3 to 658.3999 (Management, HR Management and HR Development) from level 1 to level 5.
- Books with a Dewey number from 709 to 725.999 (Art History and Architecture) from level 5 to level 4.
Tips:
- With the books constantly moving it is important to use the catalogue to see on which level a specific book is, as the catalogue is updated as the moves are done.
- When looking for a book on a specific level, keep in mind that the smaller Dewey numbers start on the left of each level and that the Dewey numbers increase to the right.
