The APK Library is currently in the process of changing from one classification system (Zastrau) to another (Dewey). The purpose of this blog to provide information to stakeholders regarding the planning, developments, possible impact and relevant facts regarding Dewey (DDC). It must be noted that our aim throughout this project is to finish this project with as little disruption possible to our clients. NB - The Law Collection on level six will remain in Zastrau order.

End of May - Progress update
If all goes according to plan, the moving of books from one level to another, should be finished by the end of June. The table below displays the moves that has been completed, moves in progress as well as the outstanding moves.

Thank you! This really helps a lot. It will take some time to get used to - I still walk strait to 'my' shelf and then wonder where's 'my' books before I remember the system has changed... But everyone in the library has been very helpful during this huge change.
