The APK Library is currently in the process of changing from one classification system (Zastrau) to another (Dewey). The purpose of this blog to provide information to stakeholders regarding the planning, developments, possible impact and relevant facts regarding Dewey (DDC). It must be noted that our aim throughout this project is to finish this project with as little disruption possible to our clients. NB - The Law Collection on level six will remain in Zastrau order.

Summary of moves completed: 1 April to 6 May
As mentioned previously, the purpose of the current moving of books in the library is to group the Dewey classes and subclasses together on a specific level. In order to achieve this, 20 moves have to be completed. Our aim is to finish all 20 moves by the second week of July. Currently 12 of the 20 moves have been completed. The table below is a summary of the completed moves from 1 April to 6 May:
